I consider myself to be a lucky girl for so many reasons and when I think about all the beautiful things in my life, some of the things that I cherish the most are making music with friends and my relationship. “Good To You” is a song that combines those things together. It’s another collaboration between me, Dux and SammyB. Synth heavy and groove-based, it’s a love song that dives into the love languages of my relationship. Now, let's keep it real; my relationship isn’t perfect, but the lucky part about it is that for the last 13 years I’ve found someone who makes it easy to be me, who forgives, makes me feel beautiful, respects, and trusts me and continues to love me.

A lot of times, though, I catch myself losing sight of his biggest love language: physical touch. It's not in my top love languages, so I admit, I forget to love him the way he craves. That's where "Good To You" comes into play. This song is my casual reminder, my personal anthem, to keep his needs in mind. It's a groove-infused memo to not let the busyness of life overshadow the simple, powerful act of touching, connecting, and loving the way he likes to be loved. And you know what? When I'm in that intimate moment, loving him the way he deserves, "Good To You" is the soundtrack I want to get lost in. It's not just a song; it's a vow to be present, to be intentional, and to always be good to you.
